Athletes of the Week
Stephanie Ha
Women's Swimming and Diving
Ha was recently named the Hartwick College Anna Meyer Female Athlete of the Year at the Student-Athlete Awards Banquet. She racked up a team-high 645 points this season. She finished first in 34 of 41 individual races and she combined for 14 wins in 18 relays. Ha closes her career at Hartwick with over 2,300 points, 101 individual wins, and 49 relay victories and holds College records in the 100 fly, 200 IM, 200 medley relay, 400 free relay, and 800 free relay.
Jared Suderley
Men's Basketball
Suderley received the Roy Chipman Memorial Award for Male Athlete of the Year at the year-end Student-Athlete Awards Banquet. Suderley received All-America honors from both the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) and D3hoops.com after leading the Hawks in scoring, rebounds, and free-throw percentage. He was named the Empire 8 Conference Player of the Year and First Team all-star as well as an ECAC Upstate First Team pick. Suderley led Hartwick to the Empire 8 regular season title, its second straight NCAA Tournament appearance and he became the first sophomore in the 83-year history of the program to break the 1,000-point mark.
