ONEONTA, NY – Hartwick College will serve as host for the 2017 Empire 8 Conference Women's Soccer Tournament this weekend. The Hawks, who finished the conference schedule in a 3-way tie for first with Nazareth and Stevens at 7-1, secured the No. 1 seed and right to host via tie-breakers. All games will be played on Elmore Field.
           
The Hawks will open the tournament against No. 4 Alfred University on Friday, November 3 at 4 p.m. in the first semifinal. No. 2 Nazareth College and No. 3 Stevens Institute of Technology clash in the second semifinal beginning at 7 p.m. The championship game is scheduled for Saturday, November 4 at 6 p.m. The winner also receives the Empire 8 Conference's automatic berth into the 2017 NCAA Division III Tournament.
           
Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens. Children under 12 are free. Hartwick College students will receive free admission by presenting their WickIt card.
