2015: Named Team Most Valuable Player … competed at second singles, tying for a team-high with six victories … earned three Empire 8 Conference victories … finished the season 6-4 in his final 10 matches … wins over Nazareth, Houghton, Oswego, Delhi, Sage, and Alfred … combined with Will Gilbraith at first doubles for a team-high five doubles wins … recorded victories over Elmira, Oswego, Utica, Delhi, and Sage.

2014: Competed at first singles for the first time in his career … posted first win against Sage’s Gerard Beaudin 6-0, 6-1 (4/16) … registered Empire 8 victory against Utica’s Raphael Warnon 6-0, 6-3 (4/24) … paired with Will Gilbraith at first doubles … duo picked up first victory over Sage’s Beaudin and Cory Alvardo 8-1 … first conference win over Utica’s Warnon and Daniel Faddon 8-3.

2013: Received honorable mention in doubles from the Empire 8 Conference ... competed at second singles and first doubles with Peter Dumas ... 3-4 record in the Empire 8 in singles ... registered a 4-6 record in doubles ... 3-4 in E8.

2012: Registered a 4-8 record playing primarily at third and sixth singles … earned a  2-5 mark in the Empire 8 … 3-9 record in doubles play.

Prior to Hartwick: Attended Williamson Central High School ... lettered in tennis 2009-2011, cross country, and indoor track (2010-2011) ... Co-MVP of league in tennis in 2011 ... second-team all-star in 2010 ... valedictorian of senior class of 2011.

Personal: Born August 4, 1993 ... son of Julie Redder and Grant Spalding ... Environmental Chemistry / Mathematics major.
