Wilder Jr. Award for academic distinction ... tied for a team-best with seven victories … finished season with a 7-6 record competing at the top flight … ended season 4-4 in the Empire 8 Conference … recorded league wins over Sage, Nazareth, Utica, and Alfred … also won matches against Delhi (2) and Oswego … combined with Nikola Nedeljkovik for a 5-7 mark at first doubles … closes career with 20 singles victories and another 12 wins in doubles play.

2016: Named Team Most Valuable Player led team in wins with 4-6 overall mark … competed at number two flight … went 3-5 in conference play … recorded Empire 8 wins against Alfred, Utica, and Houghton … combined for a pair of doubles victories … named a 2015-2016 Hartwick Phillip S. Wilder Jr. Award winner for academic distinction ... selected to the Empire 8 Spring 2016 President's List.

2015: Competed at first singles in his first collegiate season … named to the 2015 Empire 8 Conference Men’s Tennis Sportsman of the Year Team … won four matches, including a pair in league play … wins over Houghton, Utica, Delhi, and Sage … combined with doubles partner Liam Brown for wins in the second flight over Oswego, Utica Delhi, and Sage.

Prior to Hartwick: Attended Marcus Whitman High School ... lettered in tennis, soccer, and indoor track for the Wildcats ... set school record in 4 x 800 meter event in track.

Personal: Son of John Talbot and Karen Button ... Philosophy major at Hartwick ... father played tennis at both Henrix College and Johns Hopkins University.
