Holly Hoffay graduated as one of the top goal scorers in the history of NCAA Division III women's lacrosse. She played four seasons from 1995-98 and graduated ranked 11th on the NCAA's all-time scoring list with 233 goals.
Hoffay, a first-team All-American after her junior and senior seasons, helped the women's lacrosse team reach the semifinals of the NCAA Division III Tournament as a senior. She scored 106 points (87 goals, 19 assists) and was a major contributor on the 1998 squad that finished with an 18-4 record.
Hartwick had a combined record of 59-16 during her varsity career. She helped the team win back-to-back ECAC Mid-Atlantic Championships in 1996 and 1997, and was selected as the tournament's MVP in both years. Hoffay was a key player on the 1995 squad that went 14-3 and reached the NCAA Tournament.
In 1997, Hoffay led the NCAA in scoring with 103 points on 87 goals and 13 assists. Her 87 goals were the fourth-highest total in Division III history at that time. She also tallied 50 points (40 goals, 10 assists) as a sophomore and scored 22 points (19 goals, three assists) as a freshman.
At the time of induction, Hoffay's 233 goals ranked second in school history. Her 87 goals in 1997 and 1998 ranked second all-time, and her 281 points ranked third.
Hoffay received the NYSWCAA Scholar-Athlete Award as a senior. She was named to the IWLCA Academic Squad after her junior and senior seasons.
