Ian Ritcey was a two-time All-America selection in men's lacrosse and graduated as Hartwick's all-time leader in goals and points. He set school marks with 175 career goals and 227 career points.
At the time of induction, his career goals total was 41 more than the next man on the list. In 1995 he helped lead Hartwick to it's first-ever NCAA Tournament bid in men's lacrosse, and helped the Hawks to win two ECAC titles. Earlier that season he set a school record with 10 goals in a game against Lynchburg.
Ritcey was a four time All-Conference pick, and was named MVP in the prestigious North-South All-Star game at the end of his senior season.
As a freshman, he was named Hartwick's Outstanding Male Freshman Athlete, and as a senior he was recognized as the school's Harry Mosher Award winner as the athlete that best personifies courage, humility and unselfish dedication to his team.
