Jason Faulconer earned All-American honors 14 times as a member of the men's swimming and diving team, graduating with more All-American awards than any student-athlete in school history. He received national accolades in eight individual events and six relay events.
At the 2000 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships, Faulconer earned All-American honors in five events and finished eighth overall in scoring with 46 points. In individual competition, he finished second in the 200 butterfly (1:50.58), fourth in the 100 backstroke (50.97) and fifth in the 200 individual medley (1:53.61). Faulconer also received honorable-mention All-American honors as a member of the 200 and 400 medley relay teams.
In four seasons from 1996-00, he combined to win 105 events (individual and relay) and led the team in scoring three times. Faulconer, who won nine state titles at the UNYSCSA Championships, led Hartwick to a 35-9 record in four seasons, including an 11-0 undefeated season in 1998-99. As a senior, he led the Hawks to a first-place finish at the Empire 8 Championships, a second-place finish at the UNYSCSA Championships, and a 17th-place finish at the NCAA Championships.
Faulconer graduated as the school-record holder in the 200 individual medley (1:52.25), 400 Individual medley (4:02.52), 100 butterfly (50.87), 200 butterfly (1:50.58) and the 100 backstroke (50.97).
Faulconer won the Hartwick Male Athlete of the Year Award after his junior and senior seasons, and was the Hartwick Male Freshman Athlete of the Year in 1997. He was the recipient of the UNYSCSA Male Swimmer of the Meet Award in 1998-99 and 1999-00.
