Jennifer Vilord Hazard was a record setting member of the women's lacrosse team at Hartwick. She was a two-time All-America selection, named a first-team pick as a senior.

As a senior she was one of the leading scorers in the nation as she tallied 84 goals and 110 points. Her 110 points and 84 goals were both school records. She finished her career with 305 points, which, at the time of her graduation, was the fifth best total in the history of Division III women's lacrosse.

A talented offensive player that could create opportunities as well as score, Vilord set school career records for points, goals and assists. She helped Hartwick to advance to the NCAA tournament in 1992 and 1995, and to an ECAC Tournament in 1994.

She was a four-time All-State selection, and was selected for the North-South All-Star game at the end of her senior year. She was selected as Hartwick's female athlete of the year as senior
