Kory Schramm '02 is one of Hartwick's most decorated football players. During his career, Schramm was named to four All-American teams, and Hartwick posted a 28-14 record, including three-consecutive ECAC title game appearances.

As a senior, Schramm was named a second team All-American by the Football Gazette, DIIIfootball.com, and by Hewlett Packard. He also was a 2002 first team ECAC Northwest selection, and first team all-Empire 8 Conference honoree.

Schramm was honored in his junior year as a third team All-American by Football Gazette, and in 2000 named Hartwick's Most Outstanding Male Athlete.

Schramm set a program record 25 interceptions and 57 pass break-ups. His 204 career tackles ranks ninth on the Hartwick list.

Schramm was killed in 2004 by a moving automobile while he was in Athens, Greece working at the Summer Olympics.
