Megan Becker excelled in both track and field and soccer during her Hartwick athletic career.
In 1991 she was a track and field All-American, placing third at the NCAA Championships in the triple jump.
At the time of induction, she holds school records in indoor track and field in the long jump, triple jump, 4x400 meter relay, and the spring medley relay.
Outdoors, she holds records at 200 meters and in the long and triple jump.
On the soccer field, Becker performed as a field player for three years, totaling five goals and three assists. In 1990, her senior season, she took over the goalkeeping chores and performed admirably, starting 10 games and posting a 0.57 goals-against average.
Her women's soccer team advanced to the NCAA Playoffs all four years, posting an overall record of 47-19-8.
Becker was honored three times during her Hartwick career. She was named Outstanding Freshman Athlete in 1988 and was given the Margaret Lunn and President's Senior Scholar Awards in 1991.
