Sheri Kelleher '04 is the first runner at Hartwick to earn All-America honors and is arguably the most impressive sprinter ever to don a Hawk uniform.

Originally hailing from South New Berlin, NY, Kelleher, who competed from 2000 to 2004 for the Hawks, is a five-time All-American who won 21 New York State Collegiate Track Conference (NYSCTC) Championships and broke 20 Hartwick indoor and outdoor track records combined.

She swept all 16 indoor and outdoor conference crowns in the 200 meter and 400 meter events over the course of her four seasons and combined for five titles in the 4 x 400 event. Kelleher competed at the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships in the 400 meters in 2002 (4th), 2003 (6th), and 2004 (4th), earning All-America accolades in each appearance. She also took 8th in 2002 and 5th in 2003 at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in two more All-America finishes.

Kelleher was also a four-year standout in soccer for the Hawks. She finished her career with 15 goals and six assists, twice earned Empire 8 Conference Second Team honors, and helped the Hawks to the 2003 NYSWCAA Championship.

She was tabbed the 2001 Hartwick College Freshman Athlete of the Year, the 2003 Female Athlete of the Year, and the 2004 Empire 8 Conference Female Athlete of the Year. At the time of her induction, she still owned New York State Indoor and Outdoor records in the 200 meters, 400 meters, and 4 x 400 relay.
