2013-14: Led the men’s team in points for the second straight season with 508 … led Hawks in wins (18) … had seven second-place finishes … member of 12 winning relay teams (tied for the team lead) and six second place teams … part of the 800 free relay team that set new Moyer Pool record (7:14.54) … named Empire 8 Swimmer of the Week for 11/4 … selected to the Empire 8 Conference Sportsman of the Year Team.

2012-13: Led team with 682.5 points ... second on the Hawks in wins (23) … had three second-place and two third-place finishes … member of 20 winning relay teams (tied for team lead) …set Moyer Pool record in 50 free (21.32) … part of the 200 medley (1:33.42) and 400 free (3:02.82) relay teams that set new school records at Empire 8/UNYSCSA Championships … earned Empire 8 Second Team honors in the 100 free and the 200 free …swam in the 200 free at the NCAA Championships (1:40.48) … also participated in the 200 medley, 200 free, 400 free, and 800 free relays … 800 free relay team came in 14^th place (6:45.14) to set a new school record and earn honorable mention All-American honors.

2011-12: Won 18 events during the season … fourth on the team with 581.5 points ... recorded 15 second-place and four third-place finishes … was a part of 12 winning relay teams and five runner-up teams … teamed up for UNYSCSA and Empire 8 titles in the 400 free relay and 800 free relay ... participated in 200 medley, 400 medley, 400 free and 800 free at the NCAA Division III Championships … earned honorable mention All-America honors in 200 free relay, 800 free relay, and 400 free relays.

2010-11: As a freshman, won four races ... won first collegiate race against SUNY Oneonta in 50 free ... added three second-place finishes, nine third-place finishes, one fourth-place finish, and three fifth-place finishes ... was a part of eight winning relay teams and added six second-place finishes and one third-place finish.

Personal: Born February 28, 1992 ...son of Todd and Polly Ranson ... accounting major.

Prior to Hartwick: Attended Hopewell Valley High School ... lettered in swimming for four years and soccer for three years for the Bulldogs ... school record-holder in 200 medley relay and 400 free relay.
