Seney was a defensive standout for Hartwick football in the Hawks’ 21-9 victory over Ithaca on Saturday, registering four tackles and two sacks. Both of Seney’s sacks also forced fumbles, including one, on Ithaca’s first offensive play of second half which was picked up and returned for a touchdown and a 21-0 lead. On the play, he not only sacked the QB, forced a fumble which led to a touchdown, but also made the critical block which enabled teammate Jason Brown to score on the fumble recovery.
