Vonasek was named the Eastern Connecticut State Tip-Off Tournament Most Valuable Player on Sunday night following a game- and career-high 16 points on 7-of-12 shooting in a 65-46 win in the championship game over the host Warriors. She added seven points in the Hawks’ opener in a 94-50 victory over Mount Saint Mary. She shot .625 from the floor and averaged 11.5 points and five rebounds on the weekend.
