Grunewald won the 1650 yard freestyle in a new Moyer Pool record time of 16:31.33 in Saturday’s victory for the Hawks over St. Lawrence. His time beat his own record in the event by nearly eight and a half seconds. Grunewald also won the 500 free in the time of 4:47.68, missing the pool record by less than two seconds.
