Gropper led the Hawks in scoring in both games this past week. On Wednesday in a 22-4 victory over Houghton, Gropper scored Hartwick’s first three goals and five of the Hawks’ first six tallies in the first quarter. He added an assist for a six-point quarter and tacked on his sixth goal midway through the second quarter. On Saturday against #11 Ithaca, Gropper scored a team-high three goals with one in each in the first, second, and fourth quarters. He also grabbed a team-best four ground balls.
