Hughes scored a season-high eight goals on Saturday in Hartwick's 18-13 victory over Elmira. He scored two goals in each of the game's four quarters. Hughes' eight tallies is tied for the second-highest single game total in the NCAA this season. He entered the week ranked 5th in Division III lacrosse in goals per game.
