Blaney won a pair of events at the Empire 8 Swimming & Diving Chamionships and was named the co-Male Swimmer of the Meet this weekend. He placed first in NCAA “B” cut and Hartwick record times in the 500 freestyle (4:28.54) and 200 freestyle (1:40.29). He also set a UNYSCSA record in the 500 free. Blaney also finished fifth in the E8 in the 100 free and helped the Hawks to third-place finishes in the 400 medley, 400 free and 800 free relays.
