Simmons erupted for a career-high six goals and one assist in a 20-3 rout of Houghton on Wednesday. He tallied four times in the opening half and added another two goals in the third quarter in the game. He contributed four ground balls and two caused turnovers. Simmons would add a goal and a team-best two assists in Saturday’s loss to #17 Ithaca. He leads the team in both assists (9) and points (21).
