Polak received the Hartwick College Anna Meyer Female Athlete of the Year Award on May 12. She was named to the CWPA First Team and the CWPA All-Tournament First Team after helping ’Wick to a fourth-place finish in the league. Her 168 points ranks second in a single season in the Hartwick water polo record books while her 112 goals sits fourth. Polak’s 3.73 goals per game this season is the highest of any player in program history.
