Tregear, the Hawks center back and reigning Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Year, anchored a Hartwick defense which allowed just three St. Bonaventure shots over the course of Friday’s 90-minute 3-0 victory over the Bonnies. Only two shots were on target, neither troubling ’Wick goalkeeper Kenny Wilson. Tregear helped the Hawks to the program’s first season-opening victory since the 2011 campaign.
