Junior Heidi Rice (Canandaigua, NY/Marcus Whitman) is undefeated on the season both in singles and doubles to help her team to a perfect 2-0 start. With doubles partner Rose Natoli (Endwell, NY/Maine-Endwell), Rice beat Sage, 8-5. The duo also defeated conference opponent Alfred by a score of 8-4. In singles, the Canandaigua, NY native only lost four games total to Sage’s singles representative, 6-2, 6-2. She topped that mark winning against Alfred’s Emma Siemer 6-1, 6-1.
