Weir scored the game’s only goal in the first half in a 1-0 win over Houghton on Saturday. After receiving a short pass in the box, the sophomore fought through a pair of Highlander defenders, and fired a low shot to the far corner of the net just 4:39 into the contest. It would be all the scoring the Hawks’ would need as they secured an important three points.
