Lufkin averaged 19.3 points and five assists in a 2-1 week for men’s basketball. He shot .563 (18-for-32) from the floor, knocked down five three-pointers, and shot 81% (17-for-21) from the free-throw line in the three contests. Lufkin scored 20 points and dished out five assists in the season opener on Tuesday in a victory over Union. He netted another 17 points in a loss to Keene State and closed the week with 21 points on 78% (7-for-9) shooting from the field in a victory over Cobleskill. He added seven assists, four boards, and a trio of three-pointers against the Fighting Tigers.
