Mathews threw for 299 yards and three touchdowns on Saturday in a 36-7 victory over Morrisville State. He connected on nine passes on the day and averaged 33 yards per completion. Mathews completed a Hawks' season-long 84-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Tanner Williams in the first quarter.
