Michels went unbeaten in her four matches in a pair of Empire 8 contests this week as the Hawks improved to 3-0 in conference play. In a 6-3 win over Alfred University, Michels won 6-1, 6-4 in third singles and teammed with doubles partner, Rebecca Clark, for an 8-1 victory in second doubles. On Sunday, Michels won 6-1, 6-0 in singles action and combined with Clark for an 8-2 win in doubles as the Hawks beat St. John Fisher, 6-3.
