Kowalczyk finished seventh at IHSA Nationals this past weekend in Lexington, KY. The high point champion for Zone II Region III contended for the Cacchione Cup against high-point riders from the five regions in each of the eight zones from across the country. After finishing 13^th in fences, Kowalczyk registered a 6^th place finish in flat. Her fences and flat scores were combined giving her seventh overall. On the season, Kowalczyk earned a total of nine first-place rides to lead the Hawks.
