Carr helped the Hawks capture the 2017 Mayor’s Cup title as the team would surrender just one goal in 180 minutes in the two wins over Fairfield (2-1) and Niagara (1-0). He was the Hawks’ most consistent defender, winning his 1 v 1 battles in both games against the Stags and Purple Eagles, and he was able to get forward to support the attack. For his efforts, Carr was named the Garth Stam Defensive Most Valuable Player and to the All-Tournament Team.
