Carlson scored three consecutive goals for Hartwick's field hockey team on Saturday in a 6-2 victory over Houghton in Empire 8 Conference play. With the Hawks trailing 2-1 in the first half, she scored her first of the day with 12:30 remaining and scored the go-ahead goal with less than nine minutes later to put 'Wick up to stay. She extended Hartwick's advantage with 8:47 to go in the contest with her career-high third tally of the day.
