Carruthers averaged 13 points and four rebounds and was named to the All-Tournament Team of the King’s College FNCB Bank Monarch Classic on Dec. 15-16. In the two contests, Carruthers shot 72% from the floor, making 13 of his 18 shots. On Saturday, he made 5-of-8 from the floor to go along with five rebounds, an assist, and a steal as the Hawks fell to the host Monarchs 68-52. The next day, in an 89-72 setback to Gwynedd Mercy, Carruthers shot 80% from the field, as he hit eight of his 10 shots, for a team- and career-high 16 points. He also contributed three rebounds in the game.
