McLoughlin won a pair of events and placed second in another on Saturday as Hartwick swept Union and Springfield in a tri-meet at Moyer Pool. He took the 100 free by a nail-biting one-tenth of a second in 50.21, and also won the 500 free, touching up in 4:58.02. McLoughlin finished second in the 200 free with a time of 1:50.23 and also combined with his teammates to win the 400 free relay.
