Maloney averaged 17.3 kills (hitting over.263 in each match) and 13 digs over three contest last week, helping the Hawks to a 2-1 record. On Wednesday, she helped push rival Oneonta to five sets, posting her third career double-double with a match-high 17 kills and 17 digs, as well as two aces. Maloney kept up the strong play in Friday's tri-match against King's and SUNY Poly, leading the Hawks to a pair of 3-1 wins and a 7-4 season record. In the first match against King's, she put up yet another double-double with a team-high 19 kills and 14 digs, also chipping in with a block. In the nightcap, she again led the Hawks in kills, with 16, and had eight digs, a block, and an ace. For the second straight week, she was tapped the Empire 8 Rookie of the Week.
