Quirk had a strong week in Hartwick’s two shutout wins, scoring twice and putting up 10 shots. In Wednesday's 6-0 victory over Oswego, she registered her first career multi-goal game, firing a team-high seven shots on net. Quirk’s first tally came off a long free hit pass that she smoothly corralled, then spinning around an Oswego defender and putting it past the keeper. Her second goal was highlight-reel worthy, as she reached and put a Sydney Gagnon cross just in between the keeper and the post. Quirk just missed a hat trick with a few minutes remaining, sending one just wide. She also played a part in ’Wick’s first score of the day, as her shot rebounded off the keeper to another Hawk who put it home. Quirk had another strong day in Saturday’s scoreless Empire 8 win over Houghton, helping facilitate quite a few of Hartwick's 34 shots and putting three of those on target herself.
