Connors averaged 14.3 points and 6.7 rebounds while shooting 53% (16-for-30) from the field and 44% (7-for-16) from three-point range in three Hartwick men’s basketball victories. After scoring 11 points and grabbing five boards in a 66-56 win against Skidmore on Tuesday, Connors registered eight points, five boards, four assists, two blocks, and two steals in a 91-65 win over CCNY Friday night in the first game of the Hartwick Basketball Tip-Off Tournament. He saved his best performance for last with a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds in an 87-80 victory over Farmingdale in the championship game on Saturday. His 24 points, six offensive rebounds, and four three-pointers all were career-highs. He also had three blocked shots, which equaled a career-best. He would later be named the Tournament’s Most Valuable Player.
