Miller was named the Allegheny Empire Championship Co-Swimmer of the Meet after a very strong showing last week. She won all three individual events she swam in, was an integral part of a relay win, and teamed up with three other Hawks for two more second-place relay finishes. Miller began the meet winning the 500 free by more than five seconds after touching up in 5:11.06. She had a big comeback the next day in the 200 free, making up 2.66 seconds over the final 50 yards to claim victory in 1:56.66. Miller was also a part of a new program record in the 200 free relay as ’Wick finished second in 1:37.73. The wins kept coming on Friday for Miller, this time in the 800 free relay. Hartwick trailed early, but Miller’s 1:55.61 second-leg split (a top-ten relay split in program history) gave them the lead, which they never relinquished in a 7:54.23 (also placing on the program’s all-time top ten list). Miller swam and won her final individual event on Saturday, winning the 1,650 free by 5.60 seconds with a time of 18:02.47. She later was part of another top-ten time effort in the 400 free relay, as she and three teammates swam the 400 free relay in 3:37.07, good for second place.
