Tolley played a crucial role in last weekend's Empire 8 Tournament games for the Hawks. In Wednesday’s 3-0 Semifinal triumph vs. Houghton, she broke the ice in the fourth minute by batting a rebound out of midair and into the cage. She then doubled the ’Wick lead in the 18th minute, redirecting an Emily Strutt shot over the goal line. Tolley had a few gorgeous chances for hat trick, but had to settle for the two tallies on a game-high four shots. In Sunday’s Empire 8 Championship game at St. John Fisher, the second-year player was one of only two Hawks with multiple shots on the day, sending two balls towards the cage.
