Betelak put up 27 kills on a .317 hitting percentage, 11 blocks, and five aces over the Hawks' 2-1 opening week. She started off her season on Wednesday with match highs in kills (14) and aces (4) in 'Wick's 3-0 sweep of Cobleskill. Then in Friday night's first match at Morrisville, Betelak added 10 kills, three blocks, and an ace. She rounded out her week with a game-high seven blocks in a sweep of Oswego.
