Johnson, who was named the Empire 8 Defensive Player of the Week on Monday, conceded just once over three games last week, backstopping the Hawks to a 2-0-1 record. He made one save in 'Wick's 3-0 midweek win over Bard, stopped two more shots in Saturday's 1-0 Mayor Cup opener victory against St. Lawrence, and then made three saves in Sunday's 1-1 draw vs. Clarkson in the Mayor's Cup finale. Johnson was named to the All-Tournament team for his performance.
