Maddocks, who was named the Empire 8 Defensive Player of the Week on Monday 9/27, was an important presence in both of 'Wick's wins this past week. She tied her career high with seven saves in Wednesday's 2-1 in over Union, including a nifty stop in the fourth quarter to prevent the Dutchwomen from taking the lead. In 'Wick's 3-1 road win over Washington and Jefferson in the Hawks' Empire 8 opener, she played all 60 minutes in net, making two saves in addition to her important positioning and presence as a goal-scoring deterrent to the Presidents.
