Foglia was named the ECAC Division III Metro Women’s Basketball Tournament Most Outstanding Player on Sunday after helping the Hawks to their first ECAC crown in program history. She led Hartwick in scoring in each of the first two rounds of the tournament. She notched a game-high 23 points in a 71-56 win at Staten Island. She then connected on 10-of-10 from the free-throw line and finished with a team-best 17 points in ’Wick’s overtime win over Rutgers-Newark in the semifinals. She scored 15, including four in the final minute, to help the Hawks to a 67-62 victory over host Brooklyn in the championship.
