Coppola picked up his first collegiate win in a Hartwick uniform on Sunday in a team loss to Empire 8 Conference rival Alfred University. After nearly earning a win eight days prior in a three-set thriller against Nazareth, Coppola defeated Alfred’s Lucas Krenzer, 6-2, 6-1, in fifth singles Sunday for his first victory for the Hawks.
