Beau Brinsko enters his sixth campaign as Hartwick College's Assistant Men's Soccer Coach in 2015-16.
This past fall, Brinsko helped lead the Hawks to the Sun Belt regular season title, and the Sun Belt Championship in the program's inaugural season in the conference. In addition, He helped pilot 'Wick to the NCAA Tournament, the program's 24th appearance all-time and first in nine years.Â
Brinsko assists head coach John Scott with the management and development of all aspects of the Hartwick men's soccer program. Brinsko arrived on Oyaron Hill after serving as an assistant with the Binghamton's men's soccer program for three seasons.
At BU, he was responsible for goalkeeper training and also assisted in the Bearcats' recruiting, scouting, scheduling, and academic monitoring of student-athletes. In his three seasons with the program, he helped Binghamton to a record of 35-21-4 with a pair of appearances in the America East Tournament finals. He also worked extensively with goalkeeper Jason Stenta who holds career BU records for goals against average, shutouts, and save percentage. Brinsko guided Stenta to national rankings of 3rd in save percentage (.893) and 10th in goals against average (0.55) in 2008.
Brinsko is a 2003 graduate of Herkimer County Community College. He was the starting goalkeeper for the Generals in 2001 when the team advanced to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) championship match. He captained the squad in 2002 and was an all-conference and all-region selection at the conclusion of the season. He also received the Lynn Pop Walsh award, which is given to Herkimer's top male student-athlete.
In addition to his assistant coaching responsibilities at Binghamton, Brinsko has also worked as the goalkeeping instructor with the B.C. United Fusion, a Premier Youth Soccer Club based in Endicott, NY. He holds both an Advanced National Diploma and a Regional Goalkeeping Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).
In January 2015, Brinsko earned his bachelor's degree from Hartwick in Business Administration. Â
Brinsko and his wife, Robin, currently reside in Endicott. They have two sons, Angelo and Luca, and a daughter, Mariana.
