ROCHESTER, NY – On Monday afternoon, Hartwick junior
Maddy Hayes (Eagan, MN/Eagan) was named the Empire 8 Conference Women's Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week for her performances this past week in a 173-126 victory over Nazareth.
The team was paced by the junior's four victories. Hayes won the 200-yard freestyle with the time of 2:02.39, the 50-yard freestyle in 26.05 and the 100-yard freestyle in 56.46.

Rachel Bellis (Canandaigua, NY/Canandaigua Academy) and sophomore
Taylor Diepold (Monroe, NY/Monroe Woodbury) won the 400-yard freestyle relay in 3:50.42.
Women's swimming and diving hosts city rival Oneonta on Saturday, November 12
th. Start time is set for 1 p.m.
