SCRANTON, PA – Hartwick women's basketball dropped a 94-66 decision to FDU-Florham on Saturday to wrap up its competition at the Hilton Scranton Poinsettia Classic at John Long Center in Scranton, PA.
Hartwick (1-6) was paced by
Carly Johnson's (Greenville, NY/Greenville Central) 22 points. She would connect on 9-of-13 from the floor in the contest. Johnson also registered three rebounds, three assists, and two steals.
Caitlin Corbett (Altamont, NY/Guilderland) was also in double digits with 17 points. She added seven rebounds and three assists.
Kelly Pine (Hoosick Falls, NY/Hoosick Falls) contributed seven points and seven boards with
Isley Sterling (Wilton, NY/Saratoga Springs) chipping in six points.
Alexa DuBois (Hobart, NY/South Kortright) scored four points and grabbed a team-high eight rebounds.
Kendrea Williams had the hot hand for the Devils (5-4). She made 15-of-22 shots, including nine three-pointers, to finish with a game-high 45 points. Bria Smith added a double-double of 11 points and a game-high 15 boards. Gabrielle Harris scored 19.
The Hawks return to action on December 29-30 at the Bowdoin College Coastal Classic. They open with Hunter College on Friday at 6 p.m.
