Recap: After a scoreless first half, visiting St. John Fisher scored five unanswered goals to defeat Hartwick field hockey 5-0 on Saturday at Wright Stadium on a miserable rainy and windy day. Fisher would hold a 7-4 edge in shots in the opening 35 minutes but both teams had to settle for a zero-zero deadlock at the break. In the second half, the Cardinals would net all five of their goals in a 12:36 window. Gianna Palma scored off an assist from Bre Socker to get the scoring started 15:18 into the half. Lauren Fazio added to the total 3:26 later on a shot through traffic. Just 1:18 later, the Cardinals netted their third goal as Palma scored once again on an individual effort. Reghan Amoroso scored at the 61:03 mark and Socker closed out the scoring 1:51 later. Fisher would finish with a 15-6 edge in shots. The Cardinals earned seven corners to the Hawks' five. Brooke Singer (Johnson City, NY/Maine-Endwell) and Bella Wheeler (Cazenovia, NY/Cazenovia) each had two shots for the Hawks. Lavaisha Sparrow (Dover Plains, NY/Dover) and Jenna Sobol (Amherst, NY/Amherst Central) each had one. Allyson Osborne (Nottingham, PA/Solanco) made three saves in goal for the Hawks.

Notes: The game served as Hartwick Senior Day with three-year players Maria Stalder (New Woodstock, NY/Cazenovia) and Sparrow being recognized for their contributions to the program.
