ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, NY – Hartwick women's swimming and diving took first in every event on Saturday in a 112-53 victory at Bard College. The Hawks improve to 8-1 on the season.
Ten different Hawks won events, led by
Tori Argentieri's (East Amherst, NY/Clarence) three victories.
Gina Grauer (West Lawn, PA/Wilson) contributed two wins.
Argentieri took the top spot in the 100 back (1:07.14), 200 back (2:20.46), and 400 IM (4:57.18) events on the day. Grauer won both the 50 free (26.26) and 100 free (56.85).
Rachel Mumma (Northridge, CA/Granada Hills Charter) was victorious in the 100 free in a time of 12:01.95.
Olivia Bart (Bristol, CT/Bristol Eastern) was first in the 200 free (2:03.49).
Allie Borowiak (Buffalo, NY/Nardin Academy) earned top honors in the 100 breast (1:18.10).
Cecelia Mowrey (Johnstown, NY/Johnstown) was first in the 200 fly (2:21.90).
Samantha Sterck (Weston, CT/Weston) was first in 1-meter diving with a score of 159.70.
Channing Lewis (Canton, OH/Canton McKinley) won the 200 breast (2:49.53) with
Alona Gentry (Stamford, CT/Westhill) taking the 500 free (5:45.90).
Emma Reining (Hyde Park, NY/Franklin D. Roosevelt) placed first in the 100 fly (1:04.37).
Gentry,
Amanda Olivo (Nutley, NJ/Nutley), Argentieri, and
Jianna Herbert (Houston, TX/Cy Springs) combined to finish first in the 200 medley relay (2:07.18). Bart, Mumma, Gentry, and
Alexandra DiMarzio (Franconia, NH/Profile) won the 200 free relay in 1:52.14.
Hartwick next swims on November 30 in the three-day Ithaca Invitational.
