Recap: 'Wick was beaten by a final count of 9-0 to visiting Bard College on Friday at Wilber Park. The loss drops the Hawks' record to 2-3. Bard was playing in its season opener. Skylar Watts (Rome, NY/Vernon-Verona-Sherrill) came the closest to a victory for the Hawks with a 6-4, 6-4 setback to Harper Zacharias in third singles. Taylor D'Andrea (Saratoga Springs, NY/Saratoga Springs) also won five games at sixth singles. She lost 6-3, 6-2 to Eva Miller.
