Recap: Hartwick swept Utica on the road for its first win of the season on Wednesday. The Hawks took all three doubles matches, only dropping seven games. Bella Mastrion (Greenfield Center, NY/Saratoga Springs) and Skylar Watts (Rome, NY/Vernon-Verona-Sherrill) had the most decisive win, 8-1, in second doubles. Sallie Suski (Glenville, NY/Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake) and Victoria Wilson (Trenton, NY/Trenton Catholic Academy) won at first doubles, 8-2. Hannah Pettis (Glens Falls, NY/Glens Falls) and Alyssa Wilson (San Antonio, TX/MacArthur) won their third doubles match, 8-4. Each Hawk won in straight sets in singles play. Suski and Victoria Wilson each won 6-1, 6-1 in the first two flights, respectively. Mastrion won 6-3, 6-0 at third singles. Watts earned a 6-3, 6-1 win in the fourth flight. Pettis secured a 6-3, 6-4 victory at fifth singles and Alyssa Wilson triumphed 6-2, 6-3 in sixth singles.
 
Game Notes: Hartwick improved to 34-3 against the Pioneers all-time with the win.
