ONEONTA, NY – The Hartwick women's swimming and diving team won all but one race during Saturday afternoon's meet against Bard at Moyer Pool, as they easily beat visiting Bard, 207-52. The win moves the Hawks to 6-2 on the season.

'Wick got three wins from Abby Schwartz (Olean, NY/Olean) and two wins apiece from Olivia Bart (Bristol, CT/Bristol Eastern) and Gina Grauer (West Lawn, PA/Wilson).

Schwartz was a winner in the 100 fly, 100 free, and 500 free events. She took the butterfly in 1:04.12, the 100 free in 57.38 seconds, and 500 free in 5:28.41. Teammates finished in second place in all three of those events: Starr Harford (Waverly, NY/Waverly) in the 100 fly with a time of 1:06.57, Channing Lewis (Canton, OH/Canton McKinley) in the 100 free (59.76 seconds), and Bart in the 500 free (5:28.91, just .50 seconds off Schwartz).

Bart won both the 50 (24.93 seconds) and 200 (2:04.02) free events, and was followed by teammates Abby Miller (Oneonta, NY/Oneonta) (26.74 seconds) and Lewis (2:08.63) in each one. 

Grauer showed off some versatility with wins in the 50 breast, touching up in 32.94 seconds (ahead of teammate Cecelia Mowrey (Johnstown, NY/Johnstown) at 34.24 seconds in second place), and 100 IM, finishing in 1:05.90. She beat out teammate Emma Reilly (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty) (1:09.91) in the 100 IM; Reilly had a win in the 100 breast, with a time of 1:17.44.

The Hawks' three other wins came from Mowrey in the 1000 free, finishing in 11:39.46, Tori Argentieri (East Amherst, NY/Clarence)  in the 100 back, with a time of 1:05.66, and Miller in the 50 fly, touching up in 28.90 seconds.

Hartwick was first in both of the day's relays, as well. A team of Lewis, Grauer, Argentieri, and Bart finished the 400 medley relay in 4:02.92, and Gabrielle Grimley (Leominster, MA/Leominster), Lewis, Grauer, and Schwartz took the 400 free relay in 3:58.31.

Diver Anaya Shed (Duncanville, TX/Duncanville) scored a 116.15 in the one-meter dive.

Hartwick is off for Thanksgiving break and returns to action in two weekends, when they participate in the Ithaca College Invitational from Friday, December 6, through Sunday, December 8.
