ONEONTA, N.Y. – Jake Zona (Liverpool, N.Y.) was named Empire 8 Offensive Player of the Week for his performance this past week in games against SUNY Delhi and Houghton.
 
Zona started the week with one goal and one assist in the Hawks' 3-0 win over SUNY Delhi in non-conference action.
 
The senior followed up that performance with two goals on Saturday afternoon, helping Hartwick earn their first E8 win of the season with a 4-0 victory over Houghton.
